As some of you know, I am co-founder and photographer for the online publication, T.e.l.l. New England, a quarterly magazine that captures the essence of living locally in our Northeast Region. We are in our 2nd year and on our 9th issue. Our last issue, which was The Roots Issue, came out in February. The Roots Issue featured makers, small business, stories, recipes, and art all centered around roots in a literal sense, but also in the way that many businesses and people are rooted in their communities and have been around for generations and generations.
This feature was a collaboration between us and the wonderful ladies from Foret Design Studio out of Boston, Massachusetts. Together we worked on a floral arrangement that involved the roots of plants, something you don’t normally see among flowers but we thought it would be great to have a unique take on Roots. We photographed everything at Five Fork Farms, a sustainable flower CSA in Massachusetts. We had a great time working together and I hope you go check out the rest of the story over at www.tellnewengland.com!
