Happy New Year!
It’s mid-January and I’ve been working hard on the business behind the scenes preparing for what I think will be another very busy year for photography! I’ve been researching and planning and hustling to make things smoother and easier for myself and my clients and I’m excited to get started on the many projects and ideas I’ve been thinking about!
One thing I hope to do is blog more small business work and food photography because I think I posted more weddings this past year – so hoping to do more of both!
One of my favorite projects from last year was working with New Hampshire Power Yoga on creating some fresh new imagery they could use for their brand new website and social media! It’s been fun to see my photos showing up in my Instagram feed. Working on this project inspired me to get back to my own yoga practice…(which at the time I kept with really well but after moving and going through a lot this past summer, I’ve totally slacked off again, but I’ll get back to it!) but I also got to meet my new friend Jenn who was taking one of the classes and also teaches at NH Power Yoga. Her and I met and talked about photography a bunch and have since come together to collaborate on some yoga photos and she has started an amazing photography and interview project called The Self Stories – if you are interested and in the yoga community at all, I highly recommend checking it out!
I’m always so amazed and grateful for the places and people that photography takes me to!
