On a beautiful day at the end of September, Melissa and Evan were married lakeside in Bomoseen Vermont! Thanks to a former client (Hi Michelle!) this couple booked me for their big day and had some amazing plans! Lake Bomoseen Lodge isn’t too far from the NY border and is settled looking over the lake. The lodge itself is also a restaurant & taproom with amazing food and drink. It is perfect for a gathering the rustic interior is right up my ally.
It was so fun getting to know these two and their families from our engagement shoot in Boston to this gorgeous day in Vermont. For their first look they chose an incredible spot with mountain views, tall grass, trees, and a beautiful breeze. Me and my assistant were in awe of the spot and it’s safe to say we were both psyched about the images we captured there!
Some other wonderful touches that the couple chose for their special day, was the inclusion of a wedding logo that the groom’s father designed which they had on their invitations, beer koozies, and welcome bags for guests. The table decorations were simple but perfect for the setting, the flowers and donuts were local, and the whole vibe was just a fun and laid back party for all of their favorite people. The best! We even set up a photo booth for some fun pictures!
This place was amazing and I hope to photograph more weddings here in the future! Congrats to Melissa and Evan! I hope married life is treating you well :)
