Over the weekend I was able to attend the Makers & Gatherers Creative Workshop to learn more about food styling, prop styling, photography, and writing. It was a blast and the best thing about going to these type of workshops is the people I get to meet and the connections we all make. We got to learn from some incredibly talented people, like Liz from Floating Kitchen who showed us how to flawlessly style food, Ashley an amazing film wedding photographer that puts her true heart into weddings and portraits, Hayley who gave us her expertise and insight on food writing, and of course the woman who created it all and showed us the art of prop styling, Suzanne!
We had such a fun few days getting to know each other and be creative all the while enjoying the gorgeous scenery we were surrounded with. Winnipesaukee off season is pretty nice, and we even took a little boat ride to a little reserve with a cute cabin in the woods.
The house we stayed in was perfect because it was filled with perfect props for little styled shoots through out the days. Each person found some great pieces of where we were to make something beautiful with their cameras. I can’t wait to see where everyone goes from here and hope to keep doing workshops like these!
