Ah, Summer! How I miss it already.
I photographed this beautiful Maine wedding right before I left for my trip. I was able to get to know Bridget and Brad over the past year after talking on the phone, doing their engagement session, and communicating over many emails. Finally the big day arrived and it was a blast! It was amazing to be able to photograph a wedding at some of my favorite vacationing spots. My family and I visited Pemaquid Point Lighthouse last year so it was great to come back to a place I was familiar with and one that I knew would be gorgeous! And it was! Perfect weather and a warm breeze as Brad and Bridget made their way down the aisle, said their vows, and united their families with many personal touches that reflected their wonderful personalities. After the ceremony we headed over to The Contented Sole Restaurant for the reception, another awesome spot and incredible food and drink! The newlyweds did an amazing job with wedding details and were totally enthusiastic about getting pictures done, dancing, and socializing, something I really love when I have wedding clients!
HUGE thanks to my fantastic 2nd shooter, Ashley, who got some great shots for me. Be sure to check out the bridal flowers done by the wonderful Megan of Field Sustainable Floristry – absolutely gorgeous floral work out of Portland, Maine sourcing locally and sustainably.
