A few months ago I was contacted by my photographer friend, Travis, who had a plan in motion on how he would propose to his girlfriend, Allie. Being a photographer himself, I think he understood how important capturing this moment would be and I was honored that he asked me to be the one to do that for them. Also, being a girl and being involved in a proposal and engagement was really exciting to me! (I may have gushed to my friends about it a bit). It was so fun to be a part of the plan and surprise. Allie thought we were just doing some fun couple’s photography so they could have some nice pictures to put in the scrap book she had been making….however, this turned into a day to remember forever!
We chose my friend’s property in my hometown for our beautiful backdrop. They have one of the best pieces of land in the town, in my opinion, complete with a very New England rustic red barn, gorgeous field, and a Christmas tree farm where Travis eventually got down on one knee to pop the question. The weather turned out perfect and I’m really happy with how these turned out. The love these two share is radiant and I’m so excited for them!
I really would love to do more proposal/engagement sessions in the future! So if anyone is thinking about it…let me know! :)
